🎉 Congratulations to our CASE member North Carolina on the exciting announcement of TMG & Haartz Solutions LLC’s new automotive supplier facility in Rutherford County! This $51 million investment will create 125 high-quality jobs over five years in Bostic, supplying synthetic leather materials to leading automakers including Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Toyota.
Governor Josh Stein highlighted North Carolina’s strong manufacturing ecosystem and workforce training programs as key factors in attracting this joint venture, formed by two industry-leading family-owned companies in Portugal and the U.S. with a commitment to innovation and sustainability.
This project not only strengthens North Carolina’s position as a manufacturing powerhouse in the Southeast but also drives economic growth with an estimated $352 million impact over 12 years, supported by a Job Development Investment Grant.
Kudos to the collaborative effort by the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, local partners, and community colleges that made this success possible.
