U.S.A. / Italy: Strengthening Transatlantic Dialogue and Investment also at a regional level

This October saw a U.S.-Italian highlight in transatlantic economic cooperation take place in Washington, D.C., as CASE was honored to partner in shaping the Fourth TIC/THF U.S. Stakeholders’ Meeting (October 16–17, 2025). The initiative brought together government leaders, regional delegations, corporate executives and investors from both sides of the Atlantic to strengthen U.S.-Italian ties in industry, innovation, and investment. The events were promoted in collaboration with the Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy, the Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, C.A.S.E. and the Conferenza delle Regioni e delle Province autonome, under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in the US.

Italy’s Ambassador to the United States, Marco Peronaci, opened the T.I.C. TRANSATLANTIC INVESTMENT COMMITTEE meeting with the following words: “Today, Italian investments in the United States exceed 76 billion euros… nearly 6,000 Italian-controlled enterprises operate in the United States, employing approximately 300,000 people.” Luigi Mercuri, President of C.A.S.E., had the pleasure of moderating a distinguished panel during the meeting, which was hosted by our esteemed partner Andrea Gumina, President of the @Transatlantic Harmonic Foundation (THF) and Senior Policy Advisor to the Italian Government’s FDI Committee. Andrea is a true champion of U.S.-Italian economic collaboration. Grazie mille also to Danilo Mirabile for his crucial and precious support.
Our warmest congratulations to all our partners on both sides of the Atlantic. In the words of Casablanca: “This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
