Siemens Energy is investing $1 billion in expanding its U.S. manufacturing footprint, creating more than 1,500 new jobs and reinforcing America’s role in building resilient energy infrastructure.
This nationwide expansion includes a brand-new high-voltage switchgear facility in Mississippi, boosting local manufacturing capacity and workforce development, as well as expanded operations in North Carolina with transformer, turbine and grid technology production, and enhancements across Florida’s Tampa and Orlando facilities with advanced R&D labs and turbine blade manufacturing. In Upstate New York will be existing manufacturing and service facilities upgraded.
