Investing $185 million to expand the Circleville, Ohio production site
The Italian group Sofidel continues to grow its USA market share and as was seeking additional manufacturing capacity. To meet this requirement, the company was looking to construct a new building, create more on-site infrastructure, and purchase new machinery and equipment for tissue paper. The expansion of Sofidel’s current 1.8 million square foot facility in Ohio will enable the company to better meet the massive increase in demand for their products, especially since the end of the pandemic.
Since opening their facility in 2018, production of their products has nearly tripled, which speaks to the outstanding workforce at the plant. After this expansion the Sofidel’s Circleville, OH plant – serving also as their US headquarter – will become Sofidel’s most important production site globally.
